Review: Entertaining time with these Desi Boyz promising full value for money. Because Jr Dhawan manages to engage you at all times. Be it with his drama, romantic scenes or classroom antics. The dialogues are super witty in bits, and the screenplay near perfect. The two leading ladies, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh provide the oomph factor and in fact you later realize that they are sparingly used and it is only Rocco and Hunter (more of them later) who pull off the show.
The movie is set in the year is 2009. The place: London. The world has witnessed a meltdown and recession is at its peak. Nick (John Abraham) and Jerry (Akshay Kumar) are best buddies who share the same home. Nick is an investment banker and Jerry manages to make ends meet doing odd jobs. He has a nephew, his sister's son, who has lost his parents. Jerry is responsible for his upbringing. The state is keeping a close watch on his abilities to care for a kid. The recession has both these buddies jobless. Nick has to maintain a high-end girlfriend Radhika (Deepika Padukone), who he has just given a diamond ring to, while Jerry has to pay his nephews bills.

Synopsis: While returning from Army Base, Captain Ajit Kapoor stops over at a rest-house, where there is a party on, and he meets a charming, vivacious young lady. When he reaches home, his guardian, Father Joseph, wants him to get married. When Joseph accompanies Ajit to see the girl, whose name is Kanchan, Ajit is thrilled to find out that it is the very same girl he met at the rest-house. Ajit indicates his approval, and the stage is set for them to get married. It is then Ajit finds out that the Kanchan is not the girl is he had met, but her twin-sister. Kanchan is heart-broken at this, but wants her sister to be happy. Ajit is even more happy when he finally meets Kamini, who also recognizes him. Then Ajit's Army Colonel summons him for assistance in locating a female spy, who closely resembles the twin sisters'. Captain Ajit (Shashi Kapoor), stationed in Kashmir, is instantly smitten when he meets the spunky, aggressive Kamini (Rakhee). Kamini disappears after one dazzling evening of poetry, though, and Ajit despairs of ever seeing her again. Then Ajit's adoptive father, the kind-hearted Father Joseph (Nazir Hussein), unaware that Ajit has fallen for Kamini, seeks to arrange Ajit's marriage to Kamini's excruciatingly bashful twin sister, Kanchan (Rakhee, the other half of her dual role). Ajit is briefly confused, but all seems set straight soon enough, and Ajit is set to marry his sprightly Kamini; Kanchan is depressed but resigned to her wallflower status. When a shady gunda from Kamini's past surfaces, however, things take a turn for the weird, and a whirlwind of mistake, confusion, and deception follows, with an aerial climax worthy of the most over-the-top masala imaginable. Kamini, brash and modern, attracts all the attention; suitors come to the family to consider marriage to the modest, retiring Kanchan and end up enchanted with the flashy, outspoken Kamini. She even wins the heart of Ajit, the ideal Indian man, a loyal and heroic soldier, obedient and deferential to his elders. But the film punishes Kamini, and in the end it is the traditional Kanchan who is exalted and glorified

Synopsis: Kishore (kishore kumar) who is also known as funtoosh is an unemployed boy who stays along with his widowed mother and a little sister. Kishore falls in love with meena, who belongs to a rich family. Meena's father is a scientist. He is working on a secret formula, which is being sponsored by one of his businessman friends Mr Shyamlal (S. K. Shyam). Shyamlal's son Ranjan (anoop) wants to marry meena (kum kum). When ranjan learns that meena loves kishore, he purposely apoints him as a clerk in his dad's office and tries to create misunderstanding between kishore and meena. Shyamlal announces ranjan's angagement with meena, on ranjan's birthday. Kishore is upset to see meena keeping mum. Meena tells kishore that shyamlal is a bad man and he is forcibly making her dad work for that formula with the power of his money. When shyamlal's plan fails to trap meena, he sends his man to kill kishore, but smart kishore escapes safely and accidently enters the lab which belongs to meena's father. There he is zapped by is on eays, which turn him into a supernatural strong man. With the power of iron rays. Shyamlal fires kishore from the job. Kishore starts enjoying his new life with superpowers. But later his super powers wear off and he begins to shrink at a very rapid rate. On the other hand meena is being forced for the marriage with ranjan. The only way out of the situation is to get the essential property documents from shyamlal and arrange for twenty five thousand rupees to make a machine which will make kishore normal. Shyamlal threatens meena's father to allow this marriage otherwise return his money. Now, meena & kishore are trapped in the worst situation. How meena escapes the situation and how kishore gains his original personality is to be seen in the movie.
